Responsibilities:
- Perform metallurgical test work, including bench sample preparation, laboratory testing, accurate data reporting, and detailed documentation of all procedures.
- Operate and maintain laboratory equipment, coordinate ordering and inventory of consumables, and manage hazardous materials in compliance with safety protocols.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and communicate with vendors to resolve issues with laboratory instrumentation and equipment.
- Train and guide other employees in laboratory methods, safe sample handling, and proper procedures.
- Assess and update laboratory procedures such as SOPs, maintain clear and organized records, and actively participate in safety inspections and continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Engineering, or related field.
