Bilingual Counter Sales & Customer Service Associate (Plumbing Exp. Required)

Location: Tampa, FL 33634

Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday 7am-4pm

Pay: $17-$20/HR Based on experience

We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Counter Sales & Customer Service Associate with plumbing product experience who is also bilingual in Spanish and English. This role supports walk-in customers, contractors, and technicians by providing product guidance, processing orders, and ensuring a smooth, professional counter-sales experience. Candidates with hands-on plumbing knowledge or experience in plumbing supply, parts, or wholesale distribution will excel.

• Counter sales support — assist customers with product selection, pricing, and order placement

• Provide expert guidance on plumbing parts, fittings, valves, tools, and materials

• Communicate effectively with Spanish-speaking customers and contractors

• Process sales orders, returns, and special requests accurately

• Maintain a clean, organized counter and showroom area

• Build strong customer relationships through responsive, friendly service

• Coordinate with warehouse staff for order fulfillment and inventory needs

• Handle phone inquiries, quotes, and product availability checks

• Support daily operations, including stocking shelves and light merchandising

• Plumbing product knowledge required (parts, fittings, valves, tools, materials)

• Bilingual Spanish/English required

• Experience in counter sales, customer service, or plumbing supply preferred

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with frequent customer interaction

• Basic computer skills for order entry and inventory lookup

• Reliable, professional, and team-oriented
