Qualifications & Experience:

• Experience working with children or adolescents, ideally in a school or similar setting
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, capable of building positive relationships with students and staff
• Ability to adapt quickly, support diverse learners, and follow teacher direction
• High school diploma or equivalent required; additional coursework or certifications in education or special needs is a plus
• Patience, empathy, and a proactive attitude toward challenges in an educational setting

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in providing classroom instruction and one-on-one support to students
• Help implement academic lessons and individualized education plans
• Support students with classroom participation, social skills, and access to curriculum materials
• Monitor student behavior and encourage engagement and appropriate conduct
• Prepare classroom materials, set up learning spaces, and help with organizational tasks
• Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
