Rheumatology NP/PA (Fall River)

Function:
Prima Care - Multi-specialty group.- full time need.

Either 5 days full time or 4 days of 32hrs with prorated pay.
Exclusively Outpatient, M-F days, no night, weekend or holiday call.
Evaluate new office referrals, patient follow-up, order appropriate diagnostic studies
Prepare for angiography and surgical procedures and care for post-operative patients.
Wound management, including surgical wounds, minor debridement, and the prudent use of antibiotics.
The candidate can also be trained in minor procedures, like venous catheter removal.
Knowledge and experience with arterial and venous disease, including carotid stenosis and stroke, aortic aneurysms, claudication, ischemic ulcers, varicose veins, and venous ulcers.
Skill and experience in sclerotherapy is desirable.
Familiarity or willingness to learn the basics of non-invasive vascular testing.

Requirements:
Ideal candidate will have some exp in Vascular surgery as a provider but will consider similar transferable skills.
Nursing skills in Vascular Surgery could work.
Must be BC
NO NEW GRADs - unless will extensive Vasc surg exp.
MA license required
