Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Machinist with a strong background in manual machining, CNC setup, and tool & die repair. This role will support the fabrication, maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of stamping dies, forming dies, fixtures, and precision tooling used throughout the manufacturing process.

Responsibilities

• Build, repair, troubleshoot, and maintain stamping and forming dies.
• Machine and fabricate fixtures, tooling, and weld assemblies.
• Perform manual machining operations using mills, lathes, grinders, and other shop equipment.
• Operate and set up CNC equipment as needed.
• Utilize Wire EDM and Surface Grinding equipment to manufacture and repair tooling.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and specifications to ensure parts meet required tolerances.
• Support preventative maintenance and tooling improvement initiatives.
• Maintain precise tolerances and ensure quality workmanship on all tooling and machined components.

Essential Skills

• Experience with CNC, tool and die, and change over processes.
• Proficiency with wire EDM and stamping die operations.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work with tight tolerances.
• Experience in tool & die making.
• Proficiency in manual machining and CNC setup.

This is a Permanent position based out of Remington, IN.

The pay range for this position is $62400.00 - $83200.00/yr.
