Medical Technologist (MT/MLT/MLS)

We are hiring for a full-time permanent Medical Technologist (MT/MLT/MLS) opportunity in Liberal, Kansas. This role is ideal for a laboratory professional with experience in phlebotomy and clinical laboratory testing who is looking for a stable day-shift position in a hospital laboratory.

Position Highlights

• Location: Liberal, KS
• Facility: 110-bed hospital
• Schedule: Day Shift
• Hours: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Pay: Starting at $27.10/hr, based on experience
• Weekend: Every 3rd weekend when applicable
• Holidays: 2 minor + 1 major holiday rotation
• Relocation Assistance: Up to $2,500 with proof/receipts
• Position Type: Permanent, Full-Time

Key Responsibilities

• Perform clinical laboratory testing accurately and efficiently.
• Process and analyze patient specimens according to established procedures.
• Perform phlebotomy and specimen collection as required.
• Maintain quality control and follow laboratory safety procedures.
• Work collaboratively with laboratory staff and other healthcare professionals.
• Cross-train on evening/night-shift procedures as needed.
• Support testing for hospital patients, outpatients, and surrounding partner clinics.

Requirements

• MT, MLT, or MLS candidates considered
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Medical Laboratory Science
• Phlebotomy experience/skills required
• Clinical laboratory experience preferred
• Ability to work across multiple laboratory departments
• Valid certification/licensure as required by applicable state regulations
