CDL-A Regional Truck Driver - Train as a Blood Plasma Driver - Louisville

ITDS Inc., is seeking professional CDL A Regional Drivers who want consistant miles, excellent benefits, and an opportunity to train as a Blood Plasma Driver.  This unique position allows drivers to run our regional freight network while cross-training on specialized blood plasma routes as a backup driver.  As full-time plasma routes become available, trained drivers will receive first consideration and first refusal opportunities before positions are posted externally.  

 

Regional Route Examples

• West Chester, OH to Chantilly, VA
• West Chester, OH to Jacksonville, FL
• Out and back routes to Cincinnati area
• Cincinnati, OH to Bolingbrook, IL
• Cinncinnati, OH to GA, NC and SC
• No-touch Freight

What You'll Do

• Operate late-model sleeper trucks on regional freight routes
• Transport no-touch, dry van, freight safely and efficently
• Cross-train on specialized blood plasma routes
• Serve as a back-up plasma driver when needed
• Prepare for future opportunities within our dedicated plasma division

 

Blood Plasma Division Highlights: When on plasma routes, drivers will

• Transport sensitive medical cargo to plasma donation centers nationwide
• Visit 6-10 locations per week
• Handle shrink-wrapped pallets containing plasma products
• Support a mission-critical healthcare supply chain
• Gain experience in one of ITDS's highest paying specialized operations

 

Compensation & Benefits: Regional Drivers Pay

• $.70CPM
• $20/hour detention pay after 2 hours
• Quarterly Safety and Fuel Bonus:  Additional $.03CPM
• 2,500-3,000 miles weekly
• Home weekends (Friday-Saturday or Saturday-Sunday)

Plasma Route Compensation (When Assigned)

• $.80CPM
• $68.00 per Stop
• High weekly earning potential

Qualifications

• Valid Class A CDL
• Safe Driving Record
• Ability to travel regionally and over the troad as needed
• Professional attitude and strong customer service skills
• Ability to meet DOT requirements
• 1 year verifiable CDL-A tractor trailer experience
• No more than 3 moving violations within last 3 years
• No more than 2 moving violations within the last 12 months
• No more than 1 serious traffic violation within the last 3 years
• No preventable collisions within the last 3 years involving: rear-end, rollover, work/constructionzone related occurrance
• 23 years old
• No Failed DT
