Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Intervention Specialist to support students in grades 5–8 for the 2026–2027 school year. The Intervention Specialist will provide individualized academic and behavioral support to a caseload of approximately 15 students with mild to moderate disabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide specialized instruction and intervention based on individual student needs and IEP goals.

• Manage and monitor a caseload of approximately 15 students.

• Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs and student progress.

• Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, administrators, and families.

• Provide academic interventions and accommodations to support student success.

• Maintain accurate documentation and progress monitoring data.

• Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team meetings.

• Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive learning environment.

Qualifications

• Previous experience working with students with mild/moderate disabilities preferred.

• Intervention Specialist or Special Education certification/licensure in Ohio preferred.

• Strong communication, organization, and classroom management skills.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with school staff and families.
