Qualifications:
- Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential (Mild/Moderate, Moderate/Severe, or ECSE)
- Bachelor’s degree or higher; MA and additional coursework are welcomed
- Experience teaching students in special education settings (PK-12)
- Comfortable working across a range of student needs and grade levels
- Passion for inclusive education and differentiated instruction
- Flexibility and readiness to adapt to varied school environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet diverse student needs
- Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
- Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
- Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
- Participate in professional development and staff meetings as required
- Provide support and strategies tailored to students with mild/moderate or extensive needs
