Qualifications:

• Valid California Special Education Teaching Credential (Mild/Moderate, Moderate/Severe, or ECSE)
• Bachelor’s degree or higher; MA and additional coursework are welcomed
• Experience teaching students in special education settings (PK-12)
• Comfortable working across a range of student needs and grade levels
• Passion for inclusive education and differentiated instruction
• Flexibility and readiness to adapt to varied school environments

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) to meet diverse student needs
• Collaborate with general education teachers, support staff, and families
• Foster a positive, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment
• Monitor student progress and maintain accurate, up-to-date records
• Participate in professional development and staff meetings as required
• Provide support and strategies tailored to students with mild/moderate or extensive needs
