Job Description
This role offers an exciting opportunity to help launch a brand-new delivery partner program in Wisconsin by recruiting local small businesses to join a community-focused hub network. As a Field Sales Representative, you visit prospective businesses within a two-hour driving radius, present and pitch the program, qualify interested partners, and guide them through the application and onboarding process. You collaborate closely with a Field Manager and other local contractors to drive referrals through community organizations, coordinate and execute recruitment events, and maintain accurate records in Salesforce. The position is highly field-based, involves regular travel, and provides the opportunity to earn uncapped commission based on successful partner conversions.
Responsibilities- Visit prospective businesses door-to-door in targeted towns within approximately a two-hour driving distance to introduce the delivery partner program.
- Present and pitch the new program opportunity to local businesses in a clear, compelling manner to generate interest and encourage them to apply.
- Qualify prospective businesses based on program criteria and guide them step-by-step through the application process.
- Lead and track all applicant activity, maintaining an organized pipeline of prospects and partners within Salesforce.
- Support the Field Manager in planning, coordinating, and hosting community recruitment events such as lunch-and-learns and town hall meetings.
- Collaborate with the Field Manager to engage local influencers, including chambers of commerce and economic development associations, to drive referrals and increase program visibility.
- Import and update Excel spreadsheets into Salesforce on a weekly basis to ensure accurate and timely reporting of prospect and partner data.
- Build and nurture strong relationships with small businesses and community organizations to foster long-term partnerships.
- Communicate professionally and effectively with prospective partners, answering questions and resolving issues related to the application and onboarding process.
- Demonstrate a high sense of urgency and attention to detail when supporting applicants in the field, ensuring a smooth and efficient experience.
- Utilize multiple systems and technology tools to manage outreach, track progress, and report on recruitment activities.
- Travel regularly within the assigned region, including round trips of up to four hours daily, to cover targeted towns and recruitment events.
- At least 2 years of experience in sales and/or customer service roles.
- Proven outside or field sales experience, with comfort working primarily in the field and meeting prospects in person.
- CRM experience is required, with Salesforce strongly preferred for managing pipelines and applicant data.
- Exceptional customer service skills, with the ability to build rapport quickly and maintain positive relationships.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for pitching the program and guiding businesses through the application process.
- Demonstrated professionalism and enthusiasm when working with others in a collaborative environment.
- High sense of urgency and the ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced field setting.
- Excellent attention to detail, particularly when handling applications, data entry, and problem-solving for applicants.
- Tech-savvy mindset with experience working across multiple systems and technology platforms.
- Ability to travel up to four hours round trip daily within the assigned territory.
- Prior field sales experience is a strong plus, especially in roles involving door-to-door or territory-based outreach.
- Experience in roles that involved sales negotiations with customers is highly beneficial.
- Comfort planning and participating in community events such as lunch-and-learns and town hall meetings.

This position is predominantly field-based, with work occurring 4–5 days per week in the field across Wisconsin. The territory includes areas between Rochester, MN and La Crosse, WI, as well as locations in or near La Crosse, WI, Rhinelander, WI (central Wisconsin), and the corridor between Eau Claire and Menomonie, WI. You travel regularly by car, often up to a four-hour round trip in a day, to visit prospective businesses and attend community events. The role involves using technology such as Salesforce and Excel on a regular basis to track prospects and partners, along with a mobile phone for communication and coordination. The environment is dynamic and community-focused, with frequent in-person interactions, door-to-door visits, and collaboration with local organizations. Attire is expected to be professional and appropriate for meeting business owners and attending community events.
