\nExpected Hours - 40 hours a week ( 5 days a week)
\nJob Type: Contract ( 13 weeks + possible extensions)

Job Overview:
\nThe MRI Technologist is responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) scanners to produce high-quality images of the body's internal structures. Working under the direction of a radiologist or physician, the MRI Tech ensures patient safety, prepares patients for procedures, operates the MRI equipment, and maintains accurate patient records. The technologist must be proficient in cross-sectional anatomy, imaging protocols, and safety practices related to magnetic fields.

Key Responsibilities:

- Performing regular inspections of the MRI equipment and machines, and scheduling maintenance and repairs as needed. \n
- Positioning the patients and completing MRI scans according to the physicians' specifications. \n
- Ensuring that the MRI rooms are kept clean, tidy, and safe at all times. \n
- Training junior MRI Technologists and providing support to new staff. \n
- Writing reports and escalating any problems to the relevant stakeholders. \n
- Carrying out quality assurance procedures and implementing improvements as required. \n
Required Qualifications:

- 2 year experience \n
- BLS (AHA) \n
- ARRT (MR) \n
- Most Common Studies: Neuro, MSK, Abdomen, Breast, MRA/MRV, General MRI \n
