Key Responsibilities\n- \n
- Assess, plan, implement, evaluate, and document nursing care for Labor & Delivery patients in accordance with organizational policies and professional nursing practice standards \n
- Accountable for the quality of nursing services delivered by self and others under their direction \n
- Utilize specialized knowledge, judgment, and nursing skills to assess patient data and plan, provide, and evaluate care appropriate to the physical and developmental age of assigned patients \n
- Monitor and interpret Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) data to support safe maternal and fetal outcomes \n
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams to ensure high-quality patient outcomes in a high-volume Labor & Delivery setting \n

- Minimum 2 years of recent, high-volume Labor & Delivery experience required \n
- Active Maryland RN license (Nursys verification must be less than 30 days old) \n
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) BLS certification \n
- Active American Heart Association (AHA) ACLS certification \n
- Active Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) certification (or willingness to obtain within 48 hours of offer) \n
- Active NIH Stroke Scale/Score (NIHSS) certification (or willingness to obtain within 48 hours of offer) \n
- NRP certification required \n
- COVID vaccination required; declinations are not accepted and must be state-recorded \n
- Must be willing to work the facility's schedule without scheduling restrictions \n

- Experience working in a high-acuity or high-volume Labor & Delivery unit \n
- Familiarity with Labor & Delivery-specific skills checklists and competency documentation \n
- \n
