# Job Opportunity – Cardiovascular Cath Lab Technologist – West VirginiaStart Date: September 14, 2026Location: Charleston, West VirginiaCompensation: Details provided to qualified applicantsSchedule: Three 12-hour day shifts (8:30 AM – 8:30 PM), with one weekend rotation every 4-5 weeks (Friday evening through Monday morning). Call coverage includes two weekday nights (7:00 PM – 6:30 AM) and weekend call every 4-5 weeks. Call teams rotate every 12 hours between primary and secondary positions. Must be flexible and willing to stay until all cases are completed.Highlights:- High-volume cardiac catheterization laboratory performing 35-45 procedures daily with 1:1 staffing ratios- Comprehensive procedural mix including diagnostic and interventional cardiology, structural heart procedures, LHC, RHC, PCI, CTO, TAVR, Watchman, Impella, IABP, ECMO, and shockwave therapy- Advanced equipment including Siemens Artiz Z and Q systems, Philips Volcano IVUS, and Cerner electronic health record- Level IV Trauma Center and major teaching hospital with 838 staffed beds- Two-hour minimum callback guarantee; free parking provided- 36 guaranteed hours per weekRequirements:- Active West Virginia state license or compact state license (pending licenses accepted for submission but must be active before start date)- ARRT(R) and ARRT(BD) certification required (RCIS or RCES not accepted in West Virginia)- BLS and ACLS certification through American Heart Association- Minimum 3 years of cardiovascular catheterization lab experience- Demonstrated competency in all aspects of diagnostic and interventional cardiac catheterization, including structural heart procedures- Previous travel healthcare experience strongly preferred- Permanent address must be 100+ miles from facility- Two manager or charge nurse references from the past two years requiredWhy It's a Great Opportunity:This position offers the chance to work in a premier teaching facility with exposure to the full spectrum of cardiac catheterization and structural heart procedures.
