Job Title: Tax Analyst
Location: Fairfield, NJ (Hybrid)
JOB SUMMARY:
This position is responsible for performing analysis and research while maintaining corporate tax compliance for Client X. It will require the development of analysis tools and working on special projects as a team member.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Prepare REIT, corporate, partnership and multi-state tax returns.
- Assist in the preparation of tax provision workpapers.
- Provide quality, timely and responsive services and work product.
- Demonstrate an understanding of increasingly complex tax concepts. Discuss moderately complex tax issues with the engagement team. Keep informed of current tax developments and effectively apply tax knowledge to our business.
- Prepare practical and effective approaches to tax situations and arrive at appropriate conclusions. Share ideas with others. Participate in and contribute to achieving team goals. Assist in the development of recommendations and implementation plans and assist in making quality decisions in complex areas.
ADDITIONAL FUNCTIONS:
- Supports and exhibits behavior consistent with the philosophy of OUTFRONT Media Inc.
- Acts with diplomacy as a representative of OUTFRONT Media Inc.
- Performs other related duties as required.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting required and minimum two years’ work experience as a tax professional preferred.
- CPA degree or degree candidate preferred.
- Excel proficiency required.
- Corptax experience a plus.
