Maintenance Technician – Food Manufacturing Industry
Location: Tamarac, FL
Pay: Competitive hourly rate based on experience

We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team in a food manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience maintaining and troubleshooting industrial equipment, with strong mechanical and electrical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventive maintenance (PM) on production equipment to ensure reliability and minimize downtime.

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.

• Diagnose equipment issues and complete repairs in a timely manner to support production goals.

• Maintain and repair conveyors, pumps, motors, packaging equipment, and other industrial machinery.

• Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, and technical drawings.

• Perform equipment adjustments, installations, and modifications as needed.

• Support continuous improvement efforts to improve equipment performance and reduce downtime.

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment while following all food safety and OSHA guidelines.

Qualifications:

• Previous maintenance experience in a food manufacturing, production, or industrial environment preferred.

• Strong knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.

• Experience performing preventive maintenance and troubleshooting industrial equipment.

• Ability to diagnose mechanical, electrical, and controls-related issues.

• Familiarity with motors, sensors, conveyors, pumps, and production machinery.

• Ability to work independently and respond quickly to equipment breakdowns.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.

Preferred Experience:

• Food processing or packaging equipment maintenance.

• Experience with GMP, HACCP, or food safety standards.

• Welding, fabrication, or machining experience is a plus.
