Monday - Thursday

5:30 am - 4:00 pm

$18.50 per hour

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Set up and operate PEM insertion equipment to install self-clinching fasteners, studs, nuts, and standoffs into metal components.
Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, work orders, and specifications to ensure accurate fastener placement.
Inspect parts before, during, and after production to verify quality and conformance to specifications.
Perform first-piece, in-process, and final inspections using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools.
Load, unload, and position materials while maintaining safe and efficient production flow.
Make basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot minor equipment issues to maintain quality and minimize downtime.
Accurately complete required production and quality documentation.
Identify and report defective materials, equipment malfunctions, and quality concerns.
Perform routine equipment cleaning and basic preventive maintenance as assigned.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while following established safety procedures.
Work with production and quality teams to meet daily production goals and deadlines.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Previous experience operating PEM insertion equipment, press equipment, or similar metal fabrication machinery preferred.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions.
Experience using precision measuring tools, including calipers, micrometers, tape measures, and gauges.
Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to perform basic machine adjustments and troubleshooting.
Knowledge of manufacturing quality standards and inspection procedures preferred.
Ability to identify various types and sizes of PEM hardware and ensure accurate installation.
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing quality work.
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
