🏭 Position Overview

We are looking for a dependable Facility Maintenance & Utility Worker to support daily operations in our plywood production facility. This role ensures a clean, safe, and efficient work environment while assisting production teams with essential tasks.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

• Facility Maintenance — Clean and maintain production areas, storage spaces, and surrounding grounds to ensure a safe, organized, and efficient environment.

• Equipment Operation & Support — Assist in operating machinery, move raw materials and finished plywood products, and perform minor repairs on production equipment.

• Inventory & Material Handling — Stock supplies, manage materials, and transport items between workstations or storage areas.

• Safety Compliance — Follow all safety protocols, report hazards, and ensure proper handling of chemicals, adhesives, and other industrial materials used in plywood production.

• Production Assistance — Support skilled operators in cutting, sanding, or assembling plywood sheets and assist with quality inspections.

• Record Keeping — Maintain logs of completed maintenance, repairs, and safety checks.

🎓 Required Skills & Qualifications

• Education — High school diploma or equivalent.

• Physical Stamina — Ability to lift, stand, crouch, and work in various environmental conditions.

• Mechanical Aptitude — Familiarity with industrial tools and equipment.

• Safety Knowledge — Understanding of safety regulations and proper handling of chemicals.

• Teamwork & Communication — Ability to follow instructions, collaborate with team members, and communicate effectively.

• Experience — Prior experience in manufacturing, maintenance, or utility work is advantageous.
