Schedule: 6:45am–5:00pm, Monday–Friday

It’s 6:45 a.m. in Connersville and the production floor is coming to life. You review preventive maintenance tasks, stage tools, and walk the line—listening for telltale sounds, scanning for early wear, and setting the day up for smooth runs. Over the next few hours, you’ll keep critical equipment within OEM tolerances, complete oil and lube cycles, and knock out scheduled PMs—so operations never miss a beat.
The roleDrive the proactive upkeep of production machinery and facility mechanical systems using approved preventive maintenance procedures. Your work prevents unplanned downtime and keeps our teams safe and productive.
What you’ll handle- Install, maintain, and service production machines and plant mechanical equipment with a wide variety of tasks.
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues, including pneumatic and hydraulic faults; repair or replace components as needed.
- Use precision measuring devices, hand tools, and test instruments to install and align equipment to OEM specifications.
- Interpret mechanical drawings, bills of materials (BOM), and technical schematics to guide installation and repairs.
- Perform light fabrication as required—welding, lathe work, Bridgeport operations, and powered saw use.
- Complete manufacturer-recommended oiling and lubrication intervals across assigned assets.
- Document all work in Maintenance Connection, including WR and PM records.
- Deploy sonic leak detection to find and repair compressed air leaks on equipment and throughout the facility.
- Maintain clean, orderly work areas and promote a safe workplace.
- Support production success with tooling assistance, changeovers, and equipment startups as assigned.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 3–5 years of industrial maintenance or closely related experience.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and components.
- Hands-on experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
- Proficiency using hand and power tools for mechanical repair.
- Ability to operate forklifts, scissor lifts, and boom lifts.
- Clear written and verbal communication, sound decision-making, and solid math skills.
