Job Description
We're seeking a Production Operator to support our client's manufacturing team. Based in Two Rivers, WI (formerly Formrite), the company specializes in high-precision and heavy machining environments. This Temp-to-Hire role offers an opportunity to gain experience in a production setting with growth potential.

1st Shift: Monday-Thursday 5am to 3pmOvertime available, typically 10-15 hours per week

Production Operator - 1st Shift Responsibilities:
  • Operate machining equipment to produce parts according to specified methods and quality standards.

  • Manage parts, materials, and tools, ensuring proper handling and documentation.

  • Perform quality inspections using gauges and visual assessment during production runs.

  • Complete production paperwork, labels, and forms accurately and timely.

  • Maintain a safe work environment and perform basic machine maintenance as needed.

Production Operator - 1st Shift Qualifications:
  • Willingness to work on-site and pass physical requirements, including standing and lifting.

  • Ability to follow safety procedures and keep workspace organized.

  • Basic computer skills helpful for reporting and documentation.

  • Strong work ethic with reliable attendance and ability to work independently.

  • Prior manufacturing, production, or machine operation experience preferred, but entry-level candidates will be considered.

Eligibility requires working over 30 hours per week on an assignment lasting at least 10 weeks.

What We’ll Screen For (Recruiter Notes)

Must-haves

  • Comfortable with standing 8 hours and repetitive work

  • Can maintain counts, complete documentation, and follow job travelers/routings

  • Willing/able to perform in-process inspection (gauges + visual)

Nice-to-haves

  • Prior machining / operator experience (CNC or manual—client noted “various machines”)

  • Blueprint reading familiarity beyond basic

  • Experience reporting production/labor/scrap in a system (ERP/MRP or shop system)

  • Experience with deburr/clean/pack processes

Experience Wanted:We are targeting machine operators with the following experience:

  • Machine Operation or assembly experience - CNC experience is not required

  • Ability to troubleshoot an issue on a machine

  • Must be able to stand for a full 10-hour shift.
