Job Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Irrigation Technician to join our growing team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the efficient operation and maintenance of irrigation systems for a variety of landscapes. You will have the opportunity to work on projects that enhance the health and aesthetics of our clients' outdoor spaces by using your expertise in water system management.

Key Responsibilities:

- Install, inspect, and repair irrigation systems to ensure optimal performance and water conservation.
- Conduct regular maintenance, including adjusting and replacing timers, valves, and other components of irrigation systems.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose issues within irrigation systems and develop effective solutions to address them.
- Perform seasonal system start-ups and shut-downs, winterizing equipment as necessary to prevent damage during colder months.
- Collaborate with landscaping teams to design and implement efficient irrigation layouts.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients to explain issues, propose solutions, and offer maintenance advice.
- Maintain records of work performed, including parts used and recommendations for future maintenance.
- Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe working environment.

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as an Irrigation Technician or similar role.
- Strong understanding of irrigation systems and components, including pumps, valves, control systems, and pipes.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and technical manuals.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail and a systematic approach to troubleshooting.
- Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various outdoor conditions.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
- Valid driver's license required. Certifications in irrigation technology or related fields are a plus.

Working Conditions:

- Primarily outdoor work environment, exposed to varying weather conditions.
- May require flexible working hours during peak seasons.
