Maintenance Technician

If you're a hands-on problem solver who takes pride in your work, enjoys helping residents, and wants to build a long-term career in property maintenance, we'd love to meet you.  What We Offer Starting pay of $18-21 per hour, depending on experience Full-time, stable schedule Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance Life Insurance 401(k) with company match Paid Time Off and Holidays Employee Assistance Program Ongoing training and professional development Opportunities for advancement into Maintenance Supervisor and other leadership roles  What You'll Do Complete apartment turns to prepare homes for new residents Respond to and complete maintenance service requests efficiently and professionally Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliances, drywall, flooring, carpentry, and other property-related issuesPerform preventative maintenance to identify and address potential problems before they become larger issues Maintain community grounds, amenities, common areas, and overall curb appeal Inspect apartments and building systems to ensure they are safe, functional, and well-maintained Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed for specialized repairs and projects Maintain accurate records of completed work, service requests, inspections, and preventative maintenance Communicate professionally with residents and provide exceptional customer service Maintain a clean, organized, and safe maintenance shop and work environment Follow company policies, safety procedures, and applicable housing and building regulations Participate in an on-call rotation as needed Support the maintenance team and property leadership with special projects and other operational needs  What We're Looking For Previous apartment maintenance or property maintenance experience required Experience with HVAC, plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, drywall, flooring, carpentry, and general building maintenance EPA Certification preferred but not required Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently, manage priorities, and complete work efficiently Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Excellent customer service and communication skills Dependable, professional, and willing to take ownership of responsibilities Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform the physical requirements of the position  You Know You're Successful When...
