Pay: $21 - $26hrSchedule: Part-Time (Approx. 29 hours/week) Monday–Friday, with typical work hours from 8:00 a.m.–1:00 p.m. Hours may vary during the summer based on business needs. Occasional after-hours/on-call availability may be required.Kier Property Management in St. George, UT is seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to support the upkeep, appearance, and functionality of our residential communities. This role is ideal for someone who takes pride in quality work, enjoys problem-solving, and is committed to providing excellent service to residents.You will play a key role in maintaining safe, attractive, and well-functioning properties while preparing apartment homes for new residents and responding to ongoing maintenance needs. What You'll DoPerform general maintenance across assigned residential propertiesTroubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, and mechanical issuesPrepare vacant apartments for new move-ins within established timelinesComplete work orders accurately and efficientlyRepair drywall, paint units, and replace fixtures or appliances as neededMaintain tools, equipment, and maintenance areas in clean working orderCoordinate with site staff and vendors to resolve maintenance issuesAssist with seasonal needs such as snow removalParticipate in on-call rotation for emergency maintenance coverageConduct move-in and move-out inspectionsSupport inventory tracking and parts organizationProvide responsive, professional service to residents What We're Looking ForExperience in general maintenance, preferably in multifamily housingAbility to diagnose and resolve maintenance issues independentlyStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality workDependable, organized, and able to manage multiple prioritiesComfortable working both independently and as part of a teamBasic computer skills and ability to complete documentationValid driver's license that meets company insurability requirements Certifications & RequirementsHigh school diploma or equivalentRenovation, Repair, and Painting (RRP) certification requiredOSHA 10 certification requiredAbility to travel between assigned propertiesMust provide basic hand tools (power drill, screwdrivers, pliers, wrenches) Physical RequirementsRegular lifting of 25 pounds; frequent lifting up to 100 poundsAbility to stand, climb, kneel, and work in varied environmentsFrequent work outdoors in changing weather conditionsAbility to perform detailed maintenance tasks safely and effectively
