About the Role:

As a Respiratory Therapist at Avir at Pearland, you will be responsible for:

• Providing respiratory care to patients with a wide range of diagnoses, including chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD), asthma, and pneumonia

• Conducting patient assessments, developing and implementing treatment plans, and evaluating patient outcomes

• Operating respiratory therapy equipment, including ventilators, oxygen concentrators, and nebulizers

• Collaborating with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

• Educating patients and their families on proper use of respiratory equipment and disease management techniques

Responsibilities:

• Provide respiratory care services to patients in a hospital setting

• Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans

• Operate and maintain respiratory therapy equipment

• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members

• Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure excellent patient outcomes

Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Respiratory Therapist in the state of Texas

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy or a related field

• Minimum 0 years of experience as a Respiratory Therapist (new graduates welcome to apply)

• Ability to work a full-time schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
