Metal Forming Setup Technician

We're hiring a Metal Forming Setup Technician for a growing manufacturing facility in Tampa. This is a full-time, first-shift opportunity for someone with manufacturing experience who enjoys hands-on work in a fast-paced production environment. Metal Forming Setup Technician – 1st Shift
Location: Tampa, FL
Pay: $20.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Thursday | 6:00 AM – 4:30 PM

Job Responsibilities
• Set up and operate single-station presses and press brakes
• Install and adjust tooling for production runs
• Read blueprints, work orders, and engineering drawings
• Perform first article and in-process quality inspections
• Use calipers, micrometers, and other precision measuring tools
• Troubleshoot machine and tooling issues
• Make machine adjustments to maintain quality standards
• Perform basic preventative maintenance and report equipment issues
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area
• Follow all quality and safety procedures

• 3+ years of experience setting up press brakes, single-station presses, or similar equipment
• Experience in sheet metal fabrication or metal forming required
• Ability to read blueprints and use precision measuring instruments
• Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
• Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical presses preferred
• Understanding of GD&T is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Must be able to pass a drug screen and background check
