Welder

Summary:Our welders are responsible for fabricating custom and standard components, utilizing both welding fixtures and precise blueprint and tape measurement skills. This hands-on position is based in a dynamic, fast-paced manufacturing environment. Our team takes great pride in the craftsmanship and quality of the service bodies we produce. Essential Duties & Responsibilities:Performs welding on a variety of metal components, primarily galvanneal and mid steel.Interprets blueprints, technical drawings, and work instructions to weld parts using a tape measure and layout techniques, or fixtures.Conducts pre-weld and post-weld inspections to ensure adherence to specifications and quality standards.Grinds, cleans, and finishes welds as required to meet cosmetic and structural requirements.Maintains a clean and safe work environment by following company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.Collaborate with co-workers, supervisors and other related departments to resolve issues and improve processes. Qualifications:Technical certification or welding school preferred.1-3 years of welding experience in a manufacturing or fabrication environment.Proficient in MIG welding.Ability to read and interpret blueprints and tape measure accurately.Understanding of welding symbols and tolerances.
