Apartment Maintenance Technician

Location: Wichita, KS

Pay: Starting at $20.00+ per hour (based on experience)

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Apartment Maintenance Technician to join our property management team in Wichita, KS. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining apartment homes, common areas, and property grounds to ensure a safe, clean, and comfortable living environment for residents.

• Complete work orders in a timely and professional manner.
• Perform general maintenance and repairs including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
• Prepare vacant units for new residents, including inspections, repairs, and cleaning.
• Conduct routine property inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Maintain grounds, common areas, and amenities.
• Respond to maintenance emergencies and on-call requests as needed.
• Troubleshoot equipment and repair issues efficiently.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies.
• Assist with seasonal maintenance duties such as landscaping, snow removal, and weather-related property upkeep.

• Previous apartment maintenance, handyman, or facilities maintenance experience preferred.
• Knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance.
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely.
• Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• HVAC certification is a plus but not required.

• Some on-call and after-hours emergency maintenance required
