Lead compassionate, collaborative behavioral health care that helps individuals stabilize, heal, and move forward.


As an Inpatient Therapist Lead, you'll combine direct clinical care with team leadership in our acute psychiatric setting, helping ensure every patient receives coordinated, high-quality treatment during their hospitalization. Working alongside an interdisciplinary team, you'll provide therapeutic services, guide therapist assignments, and support treatment planning while fostering a collaborative, patient-centered environment focused on hope, recovery, and wellness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy to patients receiving acute psychiatric care.
  • Coordinate therapist assignments to support effective, patient-centered treatment teams.
  • Complete comprehensive assessments and develop individualized treatment plans and discharge recommendations.
  • Collaborate with physicians, nurses, case managers, and other interdisciplinary team members to support positive patient outcomes.
  • Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in accordance with agency, state, and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide clinical licensure supervision, when applicable.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA, regulatory standards, and organizational policies.
  • Respond appropriately to behavioral or medical emergencies using current certifications and approved intervention techniques.
  • Support a culture of professionalism, collaboration, and ethical clinical practice.

Requirements, Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
  • Master's degree in counseling, social work or psychology required
  • Doctorate degree preferred
  • One year of experience with inpatient hospital practice preferred
LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION:
  • Must possess and maintain a current, active clinical license in the state of Missouri (PLPC, PLMFT, LMSW, PLP, LPC, LMFT, LCSW, or LP as applicable) in good standing
  • Must obtain and maintain current CPR certification within 60 days of hire
  • Must obtain and maintain certification in an approved crisis intervention methodology (CPI, MANDT, or CALM) within 60 days of hire
