We are seeking an experienced and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team at Oasis at the Conch Republic, a premier Assisted Living Facilities in Key West, Florida. As a Maintenance Technician, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities by performing routine maintenance, repairs, and modifications to maintain a safe and comfortable environment for our residents.

Responsibilities:

• Perform routine maintenance tasks, including plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC repairs

• Inspect and maintain facilities, identifying and reporting any needed repairs or maintenance

• Conduct troubleshooting and diagnose issues with equipment and systems

• Perform minor renovations and modifications to facilities as needed

• Conduct routine inspections and testing of fire alarm, sprinkler, and life safety systems

• Maintain accurate records of work performed, including logs and reports

• Collaborate with other departments, including housekeeping, dietary, and recreational services to ensure seamless operations

• Respond to resident requests and concerns in a timely and professional manner

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical training or certification in a related field preferred

• 2+ years of experience in a maintenance or related role

• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Excellent communication and customer service skills

• Ability to lift 50 pounds and stand for extended periods
