Job Title: Facility Maintenance / Lube Technician

• $21.00 per hour

Position Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Facility Maintenance / Lube Technician to join our bakery maintenance team. This is an entry-level maintenance position designed for individuals with experience in building maintenance, general maintenance, or machine lubrication/greasing who are looking to build a long-term career in industrial maintenance.

In this role, you will perform routine facility maintenance, assist with preventive maintenance tasks, and ensure production equipment is properly lubricated and maintained. This position offers excellent opportunities for training, skill development, and advancement into higher-level Maintenance Technician or Mechanic roles.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Perform routine lubrication and greasing of bakery production equipment.
• Assist maintenance technicians with preventive maintenance and equipment repairs.
• Complete general building maintenance, including minor plumbing, lighting, painting, and facility repairs.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance concerns before they become major issues.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas.
• Follow preventive maintenance schedules and complete required documentation.
• Support equipment installations and maintenance projects as needed.
• Follow all safety, GMP, and food safety procedures.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in building maintenance, general maintenance, facilities maintenance, or machine lubrication/greasing preferred.
• Mechanical aptitude and a willingness to learn industrial maintenance.
• Ability to use basic hand and power tools.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and positive attitude.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a manufacturing environment.
