Cleanroom Cleaning Technician | Logan, UT

Nexeo Staffing is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Cleanroom Cleaning Technicians to support operations in a controlled manufacturing environment. This position is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, organization, and compliance of cleanroom and support areas through routine and scheduled cleaning activities. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing high-quality work, follows procedures closely, and thrives in a structured environment where attention to detail is essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals interested in manufacturing, production support, facility services, janitorial operations, or industrial cleaning. No previous cleanroom experience is required, and training will be provided.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning and sanitation of cleanrooms, gowning rooms, airlocks, locker rooms, and support areas.

• Vacuum, mop, sticky roll, and maintain floors in accordance with established procedures.

• Remove trash and dispose of waste following site guidelines.

• Clean doors, benches, desks, chairs, tables, carts, bins, racks, windows, vents, walls, ceilings, and other assigned areas.

• Maintain cleanroom entry areas by cleaning floors, replacing sticky mat layers, and ensuring supplies remain organized.

• Complete scheduled daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly cleaning assignments.

• Clean around manufacturing equipment and maintain designated work areas.

• Inspect work areas for cleanliness concerns, damaged materials, or maintenance needs and report findings to the appropriate personnel.

• Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies, including vacuums, mops, and storage areas.

• Accurately complete cleaning logs, documentation, and required records.

• Follow all safety procedures, contamination-control requirements, and company policies.

• Work effectively as part of a team while supporting production and operational goals.

• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.

• No previous experience required.

• Previous janitorial, housekeeping, industrial cleaning, manufacturing, warehouse, or production experience preferred.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to follow written instructions, schedules, and cleaning procedures.

• Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office applications.

• Strong communication and organizational skills.

• Ability to safely handle cleaning materials and follow workplace safety guidelines.

• Ability to work independently and maintain productivity throughout the shift.

• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift.

• Frequent bending, reaching, stooping, twisting, pushing, pulling, and repetitive movements.

• Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds without assistance.

• Comfortable using cleaning equipment, hand tools, and sanitation supplies.

• Ability to work in a manufacturing environment around machinery, noise, and varying conditions.

• Willingness to work overtime as needed.

Pay

$16.00 Per Hour

Schedule

Monday-Friday | 11:00 AM-7:00 PM
