MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN
LOCATION
Franklin, WI | Onsite
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
• Pay range:$76,000 - $83,000
• 2nd Shift | 2:45 PM–11:00 PM
• Employment type: Direct Hire
ROLE IMPACT
Keep production machinery operating safely and reliably in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment. This is a machine maintenance position focused on preventative maintenance, mechanical troubleshooting, and equipment repair—not an ammonia technician role. Success means minimizing downtime, identifying recurring equipment problems, and keeping production and packaging machinery running efficiently.
KEY DUTIES
• Perform preventative maintenance (PM), troubleshooting, and repairs on production and packaging machinery.
• Diagnose and repair mechanical problems involving motors, conveyors, rollers, pneumatics, and related machine components.
• Maintain and troubleshoot Cryovac and other packaging equipment to support consistent production.
• Identify equipment failures, complete corrective repairs, and address recurring mechanical issues to reduce downtime.
• Respond to production equipment issues and work with operations teams to restore machinery safely and efficiently.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• Hands-on industrial machine maintenance experience troubleshooting and repairing motors, conveyors, rollers, pneumatics, and related mechanical components.
• 3 Years of Experience in food service machine maintenance or related feild
• Experience performing preventative maintenance and diagnosing mechanical failures on production machinery.
• Experience maintaining industrial packaging equipment, including Cryovac systems.
EQUIPMENT & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• Motors, conveyors, rollers, and pneumatic systems.
• Cryovac and other industrial packaging machinery.
• Production and material-handling equipment.
• Preventative maintenance and mechanical troubleshooting in an active food manufacturing environment.
PREFERRED SKILLS
• Food manufacturing or high-volume production maintenance experience.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting and equipment reliability skills.
• Experience reducing machine downtime and preventing recurring equipment failures.
