HiFyve is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician in the Food & Beverage Manufacturing industry in Joplin, MO!


Pay:

  • Night Shift: $29.65/hour - $32.65/hour

Hiring Bonus: $1,250 sign-on bonus

Shift: Nights (Night shift hours: 6:00 PM–6:30 AM)

Location: Joplin, MO

About the Role

This role supports manufacturing operations by maintaining and repairing industrial production equipment in a food manufacturing environment. The Industrial Maintenance Technician focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, food safety compliance, and minimizing downtime across mechanical and electrical systems.


Job Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on industrial production equipment
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues on motors, drives, conveyors, and high-speed production machinery
  • Support food safety initiatives including HACCP, GMP, SQF, and sanitation standards
  • Maintain and calibrate food safety related instrumentation and product contact surfaces
  • Diagnose equipment failures using observation, testing, and precision measurement tools
  • Remove, repair, or replace defective components using hand and power tools
  • Fabricate repair parts using machine shop tools as needed
  • Communicate maintenance needs and downtime prevention practices with production teams
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation, reports, and work records
  • Monitor and manage spare parts, tools, and supplies inventory
  • Maintain a clean, safe, and compliant work environment
  • Support continuous improvement efforts and other duties as assigned

Qualifications

  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience preferred
  • Industrial maintenance experience preferred; extensive on-the-job training provided
  • Strong mechanical aptitude with basic electrical troubleshooting ability
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring instruments
  • Attention to detail with a strong safety mindset
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Basic computer skills
  • English proficiency required
  • Must be able to pass pre-employment drug, background, and criminal screenings
  • Employee must supply basic maintenance tools
