Location: Dickson, TN

Overview

We’re hiring a Maintenance Technician to support a high-volume, uptime-critical manufacturing operation in Dickson, TN. This is a night shift role in a production environment where equipment reliability directly impacts output, and technicians are expected to take ownership of issues and drive fast, effective resolutions. We're looking for a technician who is electrically strong first, with the ability to diagnose issues down to the PLC level (no programming required), while also being mechanically capable enough to support repairs and keep production running.

What You’ll Do

  • Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, and pneumatic issues on production equipment
  • Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems (inputs/outputs, sensors, drives — no programming)
  • Perform preventive maintenance to improve reliability and reduce downtime
  • Support repairs on motors, VFDs, sensors, and control components
  • Identify root cause of failures and implement lasting fixes (not temporary solutions)
  • Fabricate or modify parts using basic shop equipment as needed
  • Document maintenance activity and communicate effectively across shifts
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work environment

What We’re Looking For

  • 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Strong electrical troubleshooting ability (non-negotiable)
  • Experience working with PLC-controlled equipment (no programming required)
  • Knowledge of motors, drives (VFDs), hydraulics, and pneumatics
  • Ability to read and interpret schematics and technical drawings
  • Mechanically capable (bearings, alignment, general repairs)
  • Experience using hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment
  • Comfortable working independently on night shift in a fast-paced environment
