Position Summary:The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing production equipment, facility systems, and infrastructure to ensure safe and efficient operations. This role requires strong mechanical, electrical, welding, PLC troubleshooting, and facility maintenance experience within an industrial or manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Equipment & Preventive MaintenanceMaintain lubrication and routine servicing of all production equipment and machineryPerform preventative maintenance and complete assigned work ordersTroubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systemsUnderstand and follow manufacturer specifications for equipment operation and repairUtilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and machine shop tools safely and effectivelyElectrical & Controls TroubleshootingInstall, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic and control components including:Photo eyesMotor startersRelaysLimit switchesProximity sensorsTimersSolenoidsServo drivesFrequency invertersLinear drivesTachometers and encodersTroubleshoot PLC systems, communication modules, and field bus systems such as:ASIProfibusDeviceNetEthernet communicationsTroubleshoot electrical systems up to 480V, including transformers, branch circuits, lighting systems, and wiring methodsFacility & Infrastructure SupportMaintain and operate HVAC/refrigeration systems, plumbing systems, electrical systems, and building management systemsSupport facility construction, renovation, line relocation, and infrastructure upgrade projectsEnsure compliance with lease obligations, city/state codes, and safety regulationsSupport after-hours facility needs and emergency maintenance as requiredWork indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditionsSafety & WeldingFollow all safety procedures including:Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO)Arc Flash safetyPPE requirementsIdentify and eliminate equipment safety hazardsRepair and modify equipment using MIG, TIG, and Stick weldingJob Requirements:Strong industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environmentKnowledge of PLC troubleshooting, electrical systems, and controlsExperience with HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and facility systems preferredCompetency with welding, hand tools, and machine shop equipmentAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and diagramsAbility to work scheduled shifts and overtime as neededStrong troubleshooting, communication, and teamwork skillsRegular attendance is an essential function of this position
