Maintenance Technician

OVERVIEW
A family-owned and operated property management company is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support a growing portfolio of high-end apartment communities throughout New Hampshire and Southern Maine. Based in Dover, NH, this role will help maintain approximately 500 apartment units across communities in Dover, Rochester, Portsmouth, Barrington, NH, and South Berwick, ME.
This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on maintenance professional who takes pride in quality work, enjoys problem-solving, and wants to grow with a rapidly expanding ownership group. WHAT YOU’LL DO
Complete service requests and maintenance work orders in a timely manner
Perform general apartment maintenance including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and appliance repairs
Assist with apartment turnovers and unit preparation
Conduct preventative maintenance inspections throughout the portfolio
Troubleshoot building systems and identify maintenance solutions
Coordinate with vendors and contractors as needed
Maintain company maintenance inventory, tools, and equipment
Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours emergencies
Ensure all work is completed safely and professionally
Help maintain the appearance and overall condition of the communities

WHAT IT TAKES
2–3+ years of apartment, residential, or commercial maintenance experience
Working knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, appliance repair, and general building maintenance
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
Ability to work independently and manage priorities effectively
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Valid driver's license and reliable transportation
Ability to participate in an on-call rotation
Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail
