Apartment Make Ready Technician
Hire Priority Staffing is hiring an experienced Apartment Make Ready Technician for a multifamily apartment community in Central East Austin. This is a great opportunity for a dependable, hard-working team member with Make Ready experience who can help prepare apartment homes for new resident move-in and support daily property maintenance needs.
We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, can handle apartment turns efficiently, and is comfortable assisting with basic work orders in a fast-paced apartment community.
Job Details:
- Pay: $22/hr. + DOE
- Position Type: Full-Time/Temp-to-Hire
- Location: Austin, TX 78724
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Responsibilities:
- Complete make ready work to prepare vacant apartment homes for new resident move-in
- Assist with apartment turns, punch work, and unit preparation
- Perform basic work orders and general maintenance tasks as assigned
- Assist with basic repairs involving appliances, fixtures, doors, cabinets, walls, and other unit items
- Help maintain the cleanliness, appearance, and readiness of vacant units
- Work closely with the maintenance team to prioritize daily tasks and turn schedules
- Support the overall upkeep and functionality of the community as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous make ready experience required
- Basic work order or apartment maintenance experience preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish is a plus
- Must have your own basic tools
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail required
- Must be dependable, organized, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to work independently and as part of a team
- Must be able to provide valid identification, proof of authorization to work in the United States, and complete the application and interview process
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check
