Property Maintenance Technician

We are seeking a reliable and experienced Handyman / Property Maintenance Technician to help prepare and maintain residential rental properties throughout the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This position is responsible for completing turnover repairs between tenants, addressing maintenance issues, and ensuring homes are rent-ready.

Responsibilities:

• Perform minor electrical repairs such as replacing outlets, switches, light fixtures, ceiling fans, and troubleshooting basic electrical issues.
• Perform light plumbing repairs including faucets, toilets, garbage disposals, drain clogs, and fixture replacement.
• Repair drywall holes, texture walls, and complete interior painting and touch-up work.
• Install and repair doors, locks, hardware, blinds, and trim.
• Complete punch-list items during tenant move-outs and move-ins.
• Perform basic carpentry and general home repairs.
• Coordinate material purchases and maintain inventory of common supplies.
• Document completed work and communicate repair status.
• Maintain clean and safe job sites.

Requirements:

• 2+ years of residential maintenance, handyman, or property maintenance experience.
• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, drywall, painting, and carpentry.
• Ability to diagnose and solve maintenance issues independently.
• Must have own tools suitable for residential repair work.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work in varying indoor and outdoor conditions.
• Strong communication and time-management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with rental properties or property management companies.
• HVAC troubleshooting experience.
• Ability to perform make-ready services for rental homes.
• Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.
