VIP Staffing is immediately hiring a Maintenance Technician for a leading organization in Belen, NM

This is a Full Time Temp to Hire Opportunity

Schedules available are 11:00pm - 7:30 am Training is done on 1st shift that is Monday-Thursday 5am-3:30 pm for approximately 6 weeks

Pay for this position is $23 - $28 DOE

As a maintenance technician you will:

Determine required machine adjustments by reading job specifications.
Work on equipment stoppages, hydraulic, pneumatic, basic electrical.
Perform routine start-up/shutdown of the equipment.
Perform routine changeovers on equipment.
Maintain inventory of assembly parts, tools and supplies for maintenance department.
QC-ensure that all products meet the company's quality specifications.
Work with production engineers in trouble shooting issues related to equipment performance.
Assist production engineers in implementing technical corrective actions, based on customer complaints.
Follow all cGMP rules.
Monitor production machine operation to identify malfunctions.
Maintain maintenance log for all equipment.
Ensure participation and cooperation in company-implemented ESHA programs.

Maintenance technician candidates must meet the following requirements for consideration:

High school Diploma or equivalent required.
2 years of applicable trade school, college, 6 years relevant work experience, or an equivalent combination.
Electrical troubleshooting experience preferred.
General knowledge of hand & power tools.
Advanced computer skills (proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite).
Basic math skills.
Proficiency in English.
Able to work varied work hours.
Self-starter and able to make fast and accurate decisions.
Results oriented with the ability to handle multiple complex tasks simultaneously.
Able to lift up to 50lbs. on your own.
Ability to pass required pre-employment screening.
