We are growing rapidly and looking for high performers at every level to grow with us.POSITION SUMMARY:Pickleball Instructors will run the facility's sports programs, including, but not limited to: leagues, developmental classes, after-school/home school programs, clinics, camps, private/semi-private training sessions, and birthday parties.ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:Teaching relevant skills, tactics, and techniques to a wide range of athletes, individuals and groupsMonitoring, evaluating, and enhancing athlete performance and needs.Providing suitable feedback via positivity, encouragement, example, and motivationDemonstrating an activity clearly by breaking down the task or technique into a sequenceFriendly and courteous with athletes, parents, and Iron Peak team membersIdentifying athlete strengths and areas for developmentEnsuring a safe environment for all athletesImplementing the curriculum in an accurate, creative, positive, and efficient fashionAssisting management in other areas when requiredTHE IDEAL CANDIDATE:Must be a team playerNeat in appearance and professional in manner and communicationInspiring confidence and self-beliefREQUIRED SKILLS & EXPERIENCE:PPR or IPTPA Certification necessaryAt least 2-5 years of pickleball coaching at a Country Club or Sports FacilityMust have excellent interpersonal, problem solving and communication skillsMust have excellent communication skillsMust be willing to work a flexible schedule, predominately after-school and weekendsMust possess current CPR/FIRST AID certifications, or willingness to obtain within a specified periodWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be able to move or lift lightweight equipment.Position requires standing and activity for extended periods of time (indoors or outdoors), squatting, stooping, jogging, or bending into awkward positions while performing job functions.
