Hybrid Every Other Week onsite / 5 days in Durham, NC
We are seeking a Full Stack Engineer to join our team Durham, NC. This role is ideal for a passionate engineer who thrives in building scalable, high-quality applications and delivering impactful digital experiences for customers. You will play a key role in designing and developing modern, cloud-native applications using Java/Spring Boot, Angular, and AWS, while contributing to innovative solutions that enhance the digital ecosystem.
Due to client requirements, applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis. For our w2 consultants, we offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.
Rate: $50.00 to $60.00/hr. w2
Responsibilities:- Participate in design discussions, analysis, and development of quality code that aligns with established architecture standards.
- Collaborate with the Squad Lead, Scrum Master, Analysts, Quality Assurance, Architects, and Developers to design, build, test, and deliver features that improve digital experiences for customers.
- Contribute as an active member of a co-located Scrum team to deliver key customer features.
- Share solutions, collaborate with peers, and take on new problems to advance platform capabilities.
- Build and support middle-tier RESTful services and client-side applications.
- 6+ years of professional software engineering experience preferred.
- Proficiency in Java and Spring/Spring Boot, with experience building REST APIs.
- Front-end experience with Angular and JavaScript/TypeScript, plus HTML/CSS and RxJS.
- Experience with AWS cloud services.
- Familiarity with Node, NPM, and frameworks such as Camel and Struts is a plus.
- Experience with incident management and troubleshooting.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Strength in critical thinking with a growth mindset and collaborative approach.
- Financial services domain experience is a plus.
BS/BA degree or equivalent experience preferred.
