Laboratory Tech II

Sampson Regional Medical Center is seeking a Laboratory Tech II to join the Laboratory Department! Description:The selected applicants will perform various waived, moderately and highly complex hematologic, chemical, immunohematologic, immunologic/serologic, microscopic, and microbiological tests on specimens to obtain data for use in diagnosis or treatment of diseases. Requirements:National certification as an MT/MLS/MLT by an approved agency (ASCP or AMT) preferredTwo years Lab Tech I or II experience preferredBachelor's degree in MLS and 1 year of experience or an Associate's degree in MLT and 2 years of experience required. Knowledge of lab equipment, quality control methods, and report management required Hours:This is a full-time position working 12-hour shifts, including rotating weekends and holidays.
