Production / Shift Lead – Manpower

Manpower is currently partnering with a major manufacturing company in the Marston, MO, area and they are looking for an experienced Production / Shift Lead to join their dynamic production team.

In this position, you will be responsible to guide, monitor and support the production team members in receiving raw materials, preparing machines for production runs, inspecting materials and products used in the process and delegating work instructions based upon the specifications.

This is a direct hire position that is available immediately.

Job Title:            Production / Shift Lead
Location:            Marston MO
Pay Rate Range: $32/hour + OT
Shift:                   (4 days working dayshift – OFF 4 days – Work 4 days nightshift) 


What’s the Job?

• Lead and oversee the production activities with the direction of the Production Manager.
• Responsible for compliance with process controls.
• Follow up, inspect and regularly monitor the quality of products in process and at the end.
• Monitor and supervise the execution of all production activities.
• Request and receive all types of materials from approved suppliers.
• Periodically operate line control panels.
• Work directly with warehouse in requesting raw materials needed for production.
• Routinely collect samples and perform emulsion concentration analyses.
• Work closely with maintenance department on necessary repairs and verify effectiveness of those repairs.
• Record the activities, deviations and non-conformities that occurred during the work shift, in area reports.
• Perform other related activities or designated by the Production Manager.

What’s Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Previous leadership or supervisor experience is highly desired.
• Ability to work a swing shift both daytime and nighttime hours.
