Our client, a leading fresh produce processing and distribution company, is seeking a Production Associate to join their team. As a Production Associate, you will be part of the Production Department supporting production line leaders and daily operations. The ideal candidate will have strong communication skills, attention to safety and quality, and a willingness to learn, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Production Associate
Location: MN, Little Canada
Pay Range: $18.25 per hour
Shift: 1st Shift / Day — 7:00 AM to end of shift, Monday-Saturday with one weekday off
Employment Type: Full Time, Temp-to-Hire
What’s the Job?
-
Assist line leaders with daily transactions, workflow management, and production activities.

Prepare, cut, and repackage fresh produce according to customer specifications.

Operate production equipment such as potato peelers and bag sealers.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe production environment, including cleaning and sanitizing equipment and work areas.

Monitor production quality and productivity standards while communicating issues to leadership and helping identify solutions.
What’s Needed?

High School diploma or GED preferred, but not required.

Previous experience in a high-volume warehouse, production facility, or related industry is preferred.

Ability to safely use and handle sharp knives, peelers, and hand-operated machinery.

Ability to lift and/or move 25-50 lbs. safely and consistently and stand for extended periods.

Effective verbal communication skills, basic computer skills, and a willingness to learn lean manufacturing processes; bilingual candidates preferred.

Important Working Conditions: This position is in a cold and wet production environment of approximately 36°F. Candidates must be prepared to work in these conditions and dress appropriately. Candidates must also be available to start once background checks are cleared; the client will not wait for candidates to complete a notice period.
