Our client seeks a Vice President, Information Technology to serve on the Senior Leadership Team and act as a strategic partner to the President and CEO. The leader will shape and advance the enterprise technology strategy to enable business priorities, organizational effectiveness, and mission impact. The role will translate organizational needs into scalable technology solutions, align investments to strategic objectives, and drive innovation, operational excellence, and long-term sustainability across the enterprise.
This is a full-time, permanent opportunity, offering a competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package. Qualified applicants must be willing and able to work on a w2 basis.
Salary: $250,000 - $300,000/ yr. w2

Responsibilities:- Set and lead the enterprise technology vision in alignment with organizational strategy, operational business leads, and long-term mission impact.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to the President and CEO and Senior Leadership Team on technology strategy, investment priorities, and emerging risks.
- Drive enterprise-wide digital transformation to enhance scalability, operational effectiveness, and stakeholder experience.
- Establish governance frameworks for prioritization, disciplined decision-making, and accountability across technology initiatives.
- Advance a modern data and analytics strategy and champion a data-driven culture to support decision-making, research, and innovation.
- Ensure comprehensive enterprise risk management, including cybersecurity, data privacy, regulatory compliance, and business continuity planning.
- Align technology investments with business priorities and establish metrics to ensure measurable value, sustainability, and long-term return.
- Cultivate strategic partnerships and external relationships to accelerate innovation and organizational capability.
- Build and lead a high-performing department that fosters leadership capability, innovation, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Oversee core IT operations, including infrastructure, service delivery, vendor management, budgeting, and support functions.
- Champion organizational and cultural transformation through agile and iterative delivery methodologies.
- Build and sustain high-trust relationships with senior leaders and the IT department, translating technical capabilities into business outcomes and stakeholder value.
- Lead enterprise-wide communication of technology strategy and results in business-oriented language.
- Represent our client in external forums and provide updates to the Board of Directors on technology strategy, risk, and major initiatives as appropriate.
- Support enterprise-wide strategic planning and organizational initiatives as a member of the Senior Leadership Team.
- Lead or participate in cross-functional initiatives that advance innovation, operational effectiveness, and organizational transformation.
- Ensure alignment of technology strategy with evolving regulatory, compliance, and industry standards.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support organizational priorities.
- Ten or more years of progressive leadership experience in IT with significant executive-level responsibility.
- Proven experience developing and executing enterprise technology strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Demonstrated success leading organizational transformation and large-scale initiatives in a small to medium sized organization.
- Experience serving as a trusted advisor to executive leadership and boards.
- Strong financial acumen with experience developing and managing complex budgets and investments.
- Deep understanding of data, analytics, and information governance in complex environments.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
- Preferred: Experience in nonprofit or mission-driven organizations and familiarity with complex regulatory frameworks.
- Preferred: Experience leading or supporting end-to-end implementation and deployment of Salesforce solutions.
- Preferred: Experience with continuing education or maintenance of certification processes and delivery.
- 4 year degreee in a related field is required
- Master’s degree in a related field is highly desired
