Are you a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing environment? We're looking for a Shift Supervisor to lead daily packaging operations and support a team of approximately 25-40 associates. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys developing employees, improving processes, and creating a positive, high-performing workplace culture.

As a Shift Supervisor, you will play a critical role in ensuring safety, quality, productivity, and operational excellence while helping your team achieve daily production goals.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and oversee daily packaging operations to ensure safe, efficient, and compliant production
  • Supervise, coach, train, and develop packaging associates
  • Promote a culture of teamwork, accountability, engagement, and respect
  • Ensure production schedules and operational goals are met
  • Monitor quality standards and compliance with GMP requirements and company policies
  • Interpret Bills of Materials (BOMs), Manufacturing Instructions (MIs), SOPs, and work instructions
  • Drive 5S initiatives and maintain an organized, clean, and efficient work environment
  • Champion workplace safety through coaching, observations, and corrective actions
  • Conduct performance discussions, provide feedback, and recognize employee achievements
  • Complete daily production reports and maintain accurate documentation
  • Partner with Quality, Maintenance, Warehouse, Planning, and Engineering teams to resolve operational challenges
  • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities to enhance safety, quality, efficiency, and employee engagement
  • Manage staffing resources and adjust priorities throughout the shift to support business needs

What We're Looking For

  • Previous supervisory or management experience in a manufacturing, production, or packaging environment
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop teams
  • Understanding of manufacturing operations and production scheduling
  • Familiarity with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and lot-controlled products preferred
  • Experience with SAP preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and computer systems
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement principles
  • Excellent communication, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment

Physical & Work Requirements

  • Ability to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the shift
  • Ability to lift, push, pull, and move packaging materials as needed
  • Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays when required
  • Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, equipment, and varying temperatures
  • Maintain an excellent attendance record with no more than two attendance points during any rolling six-month period
  • Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence
