Job Description
Pioneer Point Recovery is seeking an experienced and compassionate Director of Nursing (RN) to lead nursing services at our residential substance use disorder treatment facility.
The Director of Nursing serves as the senior nursing leader for the organization and will play an important role in building and overseeing our nursing program. This position works closely with the Medical Director, clinical leadership, and multidisciplinary treatment team to ensure clients receive safe, effective, person-centered healthcare throughout their treatment experience.

ResponsibilitiesProvide leadership and oversight for all nursing services and nursing personnel
Recruit, supervise, schedule, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff
Oversee nursing assessments, health screenings, and ongoing monitoring of client health needs
Manage medication administration processes, medication storage, documentation, inventory, security, and related controls
Collaborate with the Medical Director and prescribing providers regarding medication protocols, standing orders, and healthcare policies
Support medication-assisted treatment (MAT) services
Coordinate medical appointments, pharmacy services, laboratory services, specialty referrals, and other healthcare resources
Oversee infection prevention and communicable disease procedures
Participate in admission reviews involving medical or nursing considerations
Conduct routine audits of medication records, nursing documentation, physician orders, and related healthcare records
Identify and respond to medication errors, adverse events, medical concerns, and healthcare-related incidents
Develop, implement, and continuously improve nursing policies, procedures, protocols, and clinical practices
Provide staff education related to medication management, infection control, emergency response, and other healthcare topics
Participate in quality improvement, risk management, accreditation, certification, and regulatory readiness activities
Work collaboratively with clinical and operational leadership to support integrated, high-quality client care
Participate in the organization's leadership on-call rotation as assigned
Graduate of an accredited nursing program
Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Oklahoma in good standing
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred
Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience, including experience in behavioral health, substance use disorder treatment, residential treatment, healthcare administration, or a related setting
Two or more years of supervisory, management, or nursing leadership experience preferred
Knowledge of medication management, infection prevention, healthcare documentation, and quality improvement
Behavioral health and/or substance use disorder treatment experience strongly preferred
Familiarity with regulatory and accreditation requirements applicable to behavioral healthcare is preferred
Current CPR certification or ability to obtain within required timeframe
Strong leadership, communication, clinical judgment, and organizational skills
Comfortable working collaboratively with physicians, clinicians, nurses, pharmacies, laboratories, and other healthcare partners
Experience with electronic health records and healthcare documentation systems
