Operations Manager Role:

The Operations Manager is responsible for the overall direction and coordination of the local business unit.
This role will lead-safe work practices and lean management of the transportation and delivery function,
The Operations Manager will work closely with the Contractors team to ensure accountability for inbound/outbound logistics.
This role will be consider a Hybrid position Monday to Friday and potentially operate Saturday's during Peak season.

Responsibilities:

Assist with overseeing day-to-day operations.
Design strategy and set goals for growth.
Maintain budgets and optimize expenses.
Adhere to policies and processes.
Oversee recruitment and training of 4Pl Contractors.
Evaluate and improve operations and financial performance.
Prepare regular reports for upper management.
Ensure staff follows health and safety regulations.
Provide solutions to issues (e.g. profit decline, employee conflicts, loss of business to competitors).

Job Requirements:

Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.
Possess a valid driver’s license in the state of residence.
Able to do the following with or without reasonable accommodation:
Lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts up to 10 hours long.
Lift, push, pull and move boxes up to 70 pounds each.
Move up and down stairs.

Basic Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum of 2 years experience interacting with Independent Contractors (Delivery Service Providers).
