Sales Application Engineer-Lancaster PA

The world’s leading manufacturer of food processing and packaging equipment is seeking a qualified Sales Application Engineer to join their motivated team in Lancaster, PA.

Full Responsibilities:

•Make application, and process recommendations on our packaging and inspection equipment.

•Review customer specs and commercial docs to determine scope of project supply.

•Perform equipment and product testing to recommended technical solution(s).

•Estimate costs of purchased material, labor, and engineering by referencing cost reports.

•Sourcing quotes for vendor buy-out items.

•Generate customer proposals by End-user or Regional Sales Managers.

•Quoting other product lines in a support role.

•Field travel to support sales, customers, and service.

Requirements:

•2-year A.A.S. degree in an engineering-related field, Required. 4-year Bachelor degree in an engineering-related field, preferred

•2 years of technical sales and estimating experience Required (preferably with Industrial Equipment).

•Ability or experience developing and articulating concepts and solutions to employee teams and customers. Required

•Ability or experience with 2D CAD layout designs (preferably AutoCAD). Required

•Ability or experience with CRM systems. Required

•Ability or experience with 3D CAD. Preferred

•Availability for occasional travel (10%) to customers in Northeast region to take site measurements. Required

•Bilingual in Spanish. Preferred

•Must pass an initial background check and drug screening.
