PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE FOLLOWING:Perform general clean-up of all areas of the facility as directedManage routine upkeep of exterior areas, green space and parking lotComplete non-routine cleaning according to specified job orders / maintenance requestsRemove garbage and recycling daily and prepare bins for weekly pick-upHandle emergency cleaning and upkeep requestsEnsure rooms are maintained and fully equipped for daily usage and scheduled eventsAssure all public use areas including restrooms, walkways, corridors, etc. are clean and up to standards prior to, during, and after each eventAdditional tasks assigned by managementEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:2+ years janitorial experience preferredWillingness to work a variety of shiftsAbility to work well under minimal supervision and as a teamCapacity to take directionStrong attention to detailWORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:Must be available to work a flexible schedule, a combination of days, evenings, weekends, and some holidaysMay be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bendAbility to push, pull, and lift at least 50 poundsAbility to navigate around the facility for long periods of timeAbility to climb elevated areas to complete tasks (i.e. ladders, lift for scoreboards, etc.)Must wear proper uniformFacility has intermittent noise
