CNC Machine Operator

Schedule:Monday – Friday4:00 PM – 2:30 AMTraining: 1 week on 1st Shift (6:30 AM – 4:30 PM)Job Term: Temp to HirePosition Summary:The CNC Lathe Machinist is responsible for operating, programming, and troubleshooting CNC lathes to produce high-precision components. This role requires strong machining knowledge, blueprint reading skills, and the ability to support continuous process improvement within the manufacturing environment.Key Responsibilities:Operate and program CNC lathes to manufacture precision componentsPerform CNC setup and make program adjustments as neededInspect finished parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure accuracy and qualityTroubleshoot machining and tooling issues and implement corrective solutionsRead and interpret complex engineering drawings and specificationsCollaborate with Engineering to improve designs and machining efficiencySupport and train junior machinists on best practices and safety proceduresMaintain a clean, organized, and safe work environmentFollow all company quality and safety standardsJob Requirements:3+ years of CNC machining experience with strong CNC lathe expertise requiredProficiency in G-code programming and CNC machine setupAbility to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprintsStrong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and materialsExperience using precision measuring tools such as calipers and micrometersStrong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environment
